What is Single Stream Recycling?
Single Stream Recycling allows you to put all your recyclable materials - cans, plastics, mixed paper and cardboard - into one recycling cart.

What materials can I put in my recycling cart?
It is very important to the success of the recycling programs that residents place only the correct items in the recycling cart.

What should NOT go in the cart?


Do not place any glass, garbage, food-soiled paper, yard waste, motor oil, automotive parts or hazardous materials in the recycling cart. The new brown cart is only for recyclable materials. Carts contaminated with these materials will not be picked up.

When do I set out my recycling cart?
On the same day each week that your garbage is picked up, roll your recycling cart out to the street before 6 a.m.
